Welcome to the A Friend in Deed Achievement Guide for The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). This guide is designed to help you complete the necessary steps to earn the A Friend in Deed achievement. To unlock this achievement, you’ll need access to the Reach zone, which means either having the Reach DLC or an active ESO Plus subscription. The main goal of this achievement is to assist Melina Cassel in building her confidence by encouraging her to push through her struggles on five different occasions.
Melina Cassel can be found at any of the nine designated locations throughout the Reach. If she doesn’t appear in one spot, simply move to another nearby location. The spots where she might spawn include:
- North of Black-Moon Clan Camp
- Near North Markarth Wayshrine
- The bridge south of North Markarth Wayshrine
- The bridge north of Nalzthdbar Great Lift
- Road north of Briar Rock Wayshrine
- The trail north of Briar Rock Wayshrine
- Near Lost Valley Wayshrine
- East of Lost Valley Wayshrine
- Red Eagle Redoubt
Once you encounter her, you’ll need to engage with her and encourage her to keep going. After helping her five times, the achievement will be yours. Simply keep checking the different locations until you’ve completed all the required interactions. Good luck!
