Get ready to set your sights on the ultimate test of dungeon mastery—because the Mythic Dungeon International is back in action! Starting May 2, some of the most skilled teams in World of Warcraft will once again plunge into timed dungeons, pushing themselves to the brink in pursuit of glory, gold, and the title of Mythic Champion.

As the new season unfolds alongside The War Within, this year’s competition promises fresh challenges and a bold new direction. Moving beyond traditional speedrunning, the MDI now embraces a format built around pushing Mythic+ Keystones to their absolute limits. This means more intense strategy, more nail-biting finishes, and a new level of team coordination and skill. The format formerly known as “The Great Push” now becomes the standard, and with it comes an exciting new rule—Spec Variety. Competitors will be encouraged (and required) to bring creative class compositions into the mix, testing their adaptability and showcasing the depth of the game’s class ecosystem.

The action kicks off with the Groups stage, running across three weekends. Each weekend, eight teams will clash in a series of escalating keystone challenges. Their mission? Climb as high as they can within the given dungeons and keystones, demonstrating consistency, creativity, and peak performance. The top two teams from each group will move forward to the Global Finals, where six elite teams will face off for the grand prize and international recognition.

The stakes are higher than ever before. The Global Finals, taking place from May 30 to June 1, will feature a massive prize pool of $300,000. Every team will be battling for more than just bragging rights—they’ll be playing for a share of the purse and a spot in the history books as the season’s champions. With the pressure on and the world watching, only the best will survive the push.

Whether you’re a dedicated fan, a curious newcomer, or a player eager to see your favorite class pushed to its limits, this is the PvE event you don’t want to miss. So gather your friends, grab your snacks, and tune in to the action. Watch the drama unfold live as some of Azeroth’s most elite teams fight to prove they’ve got what it takes.
