Here’s an overview of the most recent hotfixes implemented across various versions of World of Warcraft, including The War Within, Cataclysm Classic, Season of Discovery, WoW Classic Era, and Hardcore. Some changes are live immediately, while others may require realm restarts. Keep in mind that a few fixes may need a full client update to take effect. These adjustments will continue to roll out and be tracked over time.
Class Changes
Demon Hunter
For players using the Aldrachi Reaver spec, an issue was resolved that prevented the Cooldown Manager from properly tracking stacks of Art of the Glaive. In the Havoc specialization, A Fire Inside was not dynamically adjusting the damage of Immolation Aura in response to changes in Mastery — that interaction now functions correctly, including when trinkets or temporary effects increase Mastery.
Druid
Guardian Druids saw updates that added both Bristling Fur and several PvP talents to the Cooldown Manager. Additionally, Tooth and Claw is now monitored in Tracked Buffs. The Cooldown Manager will now only display Maul if either Tooth and Claw or Ravage is active.
Evoker
In the Augmentation specialization, Mass Eruption now properly benefits from effects that amplify Eruption’s damage. Furthermore, both Mass Eruption and Bombardments can now trigger even if the cast originates from Overlord, without requiring the Breath of Eons talent.
Monk
Casting restrictions on Zen Flight have been removed. Fixes were applied to Ancient Teachings, ensuring that physical damage modifiers don’t incorrectly diminish the healing output. Aspect of Harmony now properly functions even if the target has a healing absorb effect. Additionally, Unity Within will now trigger automatically for Windwalker Monks, even in the absence of enemy targets when the channel ends.
Paladin
Protection Paladins can now track Sentinel and relevant PvP talents via the Cooldown Manager.
Dungeons and Raids
Liberation of Undermine
Enemy tuning has been adjusted in Mythic difficulty. Stix Bunkjunker’s health was reduced by 5%, while Scrapmaster took a 10% health cut. Sprocketmonger Lockenstock’s Polarized Catastro-Blast had its damage reduced significantly, down by 60%. The One-Armed Bandit’s Reel Assistant now has 10% less health across all difficulties, and various abilities like Reward: Coin and Bomb, Scattered Payout, and Traveling Flames had their damage reduced between 7% and 47%, depending on the difficulty. A reset bug during the Ol’ Waxbeard encounter in Darkflame Cleft has also been corrected.
Items
Players summoning Reins of Anu’relos will now receive the associated bonus items only if needed. Those who already possess the items or have completed the related quest will not receive duplicates. The Feather of the Blazing Somnowl can now be destroyed if you own multiple copies.
Player vs Player
Hunter
Marksmanship Hunters using Spotter’s Marks via Ohn’ahran Winds should now see those marks scale appropriately in PvP settings.
Monk
For Mistweavers, the Feather Feet ability now properly works in combination with Song of Chi-Ji.
Cataclysm Classic
Tailoring
Fireweave and Emberfire recipes from past seasons are now learnable from Cataclysm tailoring trainers.
Season of Discovery
A fix was implemented to ensure players who previously completed the Decapitation Strike quest can still witness the related roleplay event that follows someone turning in Fall of the Grand Crusader. Mirage no longer causes the summoner to stand up when its duplicate casts Arcane Explosion.
In the Scarlet Enclave, Caldoran now drops an additional non-tier loot token. Lilian Voss will now reliably drop a Crusader’s Chalice. Players looting their first boss after Balnazzar will always receive a Jostled Chalice Fragment each week, even if the raid wasn’t completed linearly or was joined in progress. The developers clarified that this guarantees progression even with missed loot opportunities.
Nightfall Event Updates
As of May 5, Dissenter Troosilver and Whisperer Bravefort have joined the ongoing Sureki assault in eastern Hallowfall.
PvP Fixes
Shaman (Elemental)
Storm Conduit now properly provides interrupt immunity and cooldown reduction during Tempest casts.
General Season of Discovery Updates
Buffs from the Corrupted Ashbringer are no longer considered Magic effects. Paladins using the Scarlet Enclave Protection 6-piece bonus can now activate Avenging Wrath even under Forbearance.
May 2 Fixes and Enhancements
Achievements
Players who should have unlocked Gilded of the Undermine at item level 675 but didn’t receive it should now do so after logging out and back in while in a zone from The War Within.
Warrior
A bug that caused Shield Charge to deal excess damage or hit unintended targets was addressed.
Priory of the Sacred Flame
Captain Dailcry’s Hurl Spear no longer damages players outside its intended trajectory.
Item Balance Tweaks
Carved Blazikon Wax now grants 150% more Versatility. The Entropic Skardyn Core gives a 15% Intellect bonus, and fragments will now return more reliably. The Soulletting Ruby has had its Critical Strike bonus raised by 10%.
Mount Mechanics
Skyriding‘s Ground Skimming ability now properly regenerates vigor at the intended rate.
Nightfall Event Enhancements
Reputation gains for Flame’s Radiance were doubled across all sources. Vendors now offer a full selection of Arathi themed weapons and shields.
Transmog Fixes
The Mythic and Elite versions of the Shaman’s Liberation of Undermine gloves now include the intended lightning effects.
Discovery Season Improvements
Elemental Invasions now occur far more often—every 1–2 hours instead of the prior 24–48 hour cycle. Grand Arcanist and Grand Sorcerer enchants now grant healing power alongside spell power, and a short cooldown was added to prevent multiple mana procs from a single spell. These enchants also now trigger from non-periodic combat healing spells.
Mirage, Rod of Illusion’s summoned copy will no longer attempt to melee. Immolation Traps won’t perform melee attacks during the Alexei the Beastlord encounter.
Warlock Fixes
Damage bonuses from the Naxxramas set now apply correctly to Corruption effects when paired with the Scarlet Enclave tank set. The healing from the tank 4-piece now triggers appropriately off instant ticks.
April 30 Adjustments
Priest
Power Word: Shield’s cooldown is now tracked properly on the Cooldown Manager for Discipline Priests. Prayer of Healing should no longer show up incorrectly if untalented for Holy Priests.
Rogue
Numerous bugs were fixed in all specs related to Blade Flurry behavior, Kingsbane, and dynamic interactions with Grand Melee buffs.
Shaman (Restoration)
Acid Rain now correctly generates threat and can aggro enemies.
Warlock (Hellcaller/Demonology)
Fixes for abilities like Blackened Soul, Wither, and Hand of Gul’dan ensure they behave correctly with procs and cooldowns. Some skills previously displayed incorrectly on the essential cooldown bar; those visual bugs are now resolved.
Warrior (Arms)
Colossus Smash is no longer subject to being parried.
Dungeon Bug Fixes
In Darkflame Cleft, Eerie Molds now count correctly toward abilities that track damage received.
Quest Fixes
Issues preventing loot from spawning properly for the Preserve the Legacy quest were resolved.
Miscellaneous Discovery Updates
The Lucky Doubloon now has a brief cooldown to prevent accidental spamming. Accepting the Prove Your Worth quest will immediately provide the Quartermaster’s Crate.
Paladin Set Bonus Fixes
The Avenging Shield buff from the Scarlet Enclave 6-piece set now aligns with Avenging Wrath‘s duration.
Scarlet Enclave Adjustments
Three Torn Diary Pages are now lootable and tradable for those who were part of the Reborn Council fight. Soft resets should no longer remove these pages. Additionally, berserk timers for all bosses except Caldoran were increased to 10 minutes. Caldoran will now berserk six minutes after phase two begins. Enemy aggro ranges during the Reborn Council fight were also reduced to allow better pull preparation.
